Post Malone’s Watch Collection is Unbelievable

In case you’ve been living under a rock for the last four years, Post Malone (aka Austin Richard Post) is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer.

He’s also an avid connoisseur of extremely high-end watches and his unbelievable collection is a source of much envy for fellow watch-lovers. Luxury watch website, Rescapement, was lucky enough to chat with Post Malone about his collection, and we couldn't help but take notice.

Here, we’ve recapped the most standout timepieces in his collection. Keep scrolling to see the most standout timepieces in his collection, and if your interest is piqued, read Rescapement’s full interview, here.

Post Malone’s Watch Collection

Rolex Daytona Everose Rainbow Daytona 116595RBOW

The Rainbow Daytona is a real show-stealer of a watch. It’s out-and-out flamboyant, a perfect fit for Post Malone’s more-is-more aesthetic. Released by Rolex in 2018, the rose gold watch is the third iteration of this piece. It follows the popular 2012 releases of the Rainbow Daytona in yellow and white gold, and it comes in a warm Everose gold case with the hour markers marked in coloured sapphires to match those set on the bezel.

The watch has all the prestige of a Rolex, but it’s, to quote Post Malone, “pretty bitchin’”. Rolex has been cagey about how many of these were produced, but if you wanted to get your hands on one, you’re looking at upwards of AU$481,000.

Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5168G in Khaki Green

A very different musician, John Mayer, claims that he inspired this particular Patek Philippe Aquanaut. The 5168G watches are made of solid white gold instead of steel, which means that this tough-looking sports-style watch is actually made of a precious metal. This is the second version of the 5168G style, following the original blue version that was released in 2017 to celebrate the Aquanaut's 20th anniversary.

The Aquanaut is an in-demand watch, with years-long waitlists for some popular models including this one; Post Malone admits he had some help getting one into his collection.

For a time, it was possible to purchase the khaki green rubber straps from Patek Philippe retailers as long as you owned a 5164 or 5167 watch, but the brand banned anyone except owners of genuine khaki green watches from buying them, so now even the straps are collectable. You can get a second-hand khaki green Aquanaut for AU$99,000.

Patek Phillipe Nautilus 5719/10G

The Patek Phillipe Nautilus 5719/10G is undeniable one of the more flashy in Post Malone's collection. This white-gold Nautilus is more diamond than watch, with a faintly ridiculous 1,343 factory-set diamonds for a total of about 18.73 carats.

The case is set with 100 diamonds and 32 baguette diamonds, while the dial is covered with 255 diamonds and three baguette diamond hour markers. The strap comprises 803 diamonds with an additional 150 baguette diamonds. If you like diamonds on diamonds on diamonds, you may be able to get one of these timepieces for AU$702,300.

Richard Mille RM-12 Tourbillon

Post Malone wouldn't be a true watch collector without a few Richard Mille watches to boot. And we think the RM-12 Tourbillon is a pretty worthy addition.

A tourbillon is a mechanical complication found in the movements of certain high-end mechanical watches to increase their accuracy, making it a focal point of this particular style. Crafted from platinum, this extremely high-tech Richard Mille watch incorporates its tourbillon into a complex set of tubes instead of the standard metal base plate. It’s as durable as it is handsome, but good luck adding one to your own collection: the RM-12 was limited to just 30 pieces.

Richard Mille RM-55 Bubba Watson

This Richard Mille RM-55 Bubba Waston is a manual winding watch that was designed as an homage to American golfing legend Bubba Watson. The case is crafted from titanium and white ceramic, and the design makes it look like the mechanics are floating in air within the case.

Post Malone likes the Bubba Watson for its subtlety. “If you look at it and you’re not a watch guy, you won’t know what it is,” he told GQ. You can find a pre-owned one for around AU$403,000.

Richard Mille RM-52 Tourbillon Skull Asia Edition

This is one of Richard Mille’s more outlandish timepieces and is Post Malone’s favourite watch from his collection—one he boasts he spent US$1 million on.

This watch features a large skull made of grade-5 titanium at the heart of its technically impressive mechanics, a true blend of form and function. Price on application for this piece. And you know the old adage, if you have to ask…

Hublot Classic Fusion Skeleton Tourbillon

The skeleton-like inner workings of this 45mm watch, which Post Malone wears as his everyday watch around the home, give it a sporty yet elegant look that’s proven popular with Hublot fans across the board.

You can get one on your own wrist for around AU$92,000.

Hublot Techframe Ferrari Tourbillon Chronograph

This sapphire and white gold tourbillon chronograph features a 45mm 18k white gold case surrounding a sapphire crystal and opaline grey dial. It is one of just 70 ever made, and even if you could find one available for sale, you would expect to pay well over AU$200,000.
