How Much Do TikTokers Make? Hint: It’s A Lot

How much do TikTokers earn? It’s a question we’ve been wondering since the app first skyrocketed to popularity — only to continue growing rapidly over the past year.

While TikTok may be new, it’s old news that we’re always looking towards aspirational figures to follow. Influencers have allegedly been around since the middle ages when kings and queens wielded their influence on lowly subjects. However, it was the turn of the 21st century that marked the real rise of the influencer as we know it today.

With the help of social media, the internet now provides a place where millions of people instantly connect with one another, a plethora of information readily accessible with the tap of a finger.

From this YouTubers, Instagram models and TikTok stars now abound, swarming our feeds with content, collaborations and partnerships. Brands are getting in on it too, leveraging influencers and their legions of loyal followers to grow their presence.

While it's easy to drown in a sea of "content creation" these days, true creativity—and hard work—still pays off. Influencers who can prove their skill and smarts often reap the rewards of more followers, and alongside, more money.

One such influencer is Valeria Lipovetsky with over 1 million followers across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube respectively and an estimated net worth over US $2 Million. The Russian mother, model and holistic nutritionist first started as a model, then makeup guru and YouTuber who has since expanded her empire on Instagram and TikTok. She has even taken things one step further with her own brand, Leia, an eCommerce website and personal collection of products all tried, tested and trusted by Lipovetsky herself.

Wondering what you can do to reach that sought-after Influencer status? We have rounded up some of the world's favourite social media darlings to take an in-depth look at their paths to success.
